Traces is a telemetry app for Gran Turismo 7. It reads what your car does on every metre of the track, shows you where you lose time against a faster lap, and tells you what to fix first.

While you drive, GT7 sends out what the car is doing sixty times a second: speed, throttle, brake, steering, gear, RPM, tyre temperatures, fuel and where you are on the track. Traces picks that up on your computer, draws it live and saves every lap you complete.
After a session you compare. Put your lap next to your best, a friend's, or a faster driver's from the leaderboard, and Traces shows the time gained and lost segment by segment: where you braked earlier, carried less speed through the apex, or got back on the throttle later. Its lap feedback picks the one to fix first.
Record your replays and you can watch your lap and the faster one side by side, both cars at the same metre of track, with the data underneath.
It is for anyone who wants to get faster in GT7, from your first Daily Race to the top of the Driver Rating ladder, and for streamers who want their data on screen.
